Rules
The following guidelines have been consolidated in collaboration with the betting industry and represent the standard regulations observed in most betting shops. It is advisable to verify these rules with your chosen betting shop or provider before placing any wagers.
The maximum payout for a customer or a group/syndicate of customers, betting collectively on the same combination of choices sourced from the same 49’s draw, is determined by the shop where the bet was made.
Bets for the 49’s draw are accepted until the official start time as broadcasted on SIS.
In the case of a timed or named draw, the bet is accepted after the corresponding day’s draw has taken place. Single bets will be settled based on the initial draw following acceptance, regardless of the draw’s name or appointed time on the slip.
If a draw doesn’t occur or is incorrect, the bet will roll over to the next consecutive draw(s) following acceptance.
For multiple draws chosen, bets will be settled on the subsequent named or timed consecutive draws after acceptance.
If a draw doesn’t take place for any reason, bets will carry over to the next available 49’s draw with the customer’s consent.
Standard gambling slips may be used for placing 49’s bets.
All bets are considered to be on the ‘6 Range Draw’ unless specified otherwise.
49’s bets placed on various specials like ‘Lucky 15s’ won’t qualify for consolations or bonuses. If the total chosen numbers exceed 5, the bet will be settled as a series of ‘Five Correct’ bets with the stake divided accordingly.
Multiple bets on a single 49’s draw are accepted. 49’s bets cannot be combined with other gambling events, and accumulative bets with other events are not allowed. Any unclear or unknown figures will be treated as void with the bet adjusted accordingly.
Odds apply only to valid numbers. For example, if a bet on the ‘3 Ranges Correct’ section has 2 numbers and a void number, it will be settled based on the odds applicable to the ‘2 Numbers Correct’ section.
In ’49’s Bingo’ bets, if fewer than nine numbers are chosen, an incorrect number is selected, the same number is chosen more than once, or figures are indecipherable, the bets will be void.
In ’49’s Bingo’ bets, the ‘Booster’ ball is not considered. Special bets offered on a ’49’s’ draw cannot be combined with other bets from the same ’49’s’ draw.
Rules specific to individual gambling outlets or providers will apply to any matters not covered in these rules.
